As we predicted a few weeks back December 4th’s fight between Zach “Jungle Boy” Walters and Larry “Razor” Sharpe just got way more interesting. Coming off the Press Release from yesterday and comments made by team Horton, it looks like a win for Walters puts him in one of the biggest fights that can be made in Minnesota. Zach Walters vs Matt Vanda could come as soon as January where MSC has a date at the Target Center. Minnesota is boxing!
In other news Boris “The Russian Giant” (6,1) has a new opponent, he will now be facing Emerson Chasing Bear (4,0,1).
December 4, Target Center, Abell/Butler for the MN Heavyweight Title. Walters/Sharpe – a win for Walters could mean Matt Vanda. Plus much more.
Thats what I’m talking about! Wow, what other monster fights can even be announced, crazy good times for boxing fans.
Its very cool to see everyone stepping up to really see who Minnesota’s best fighters are. Its a step towards looking better on a national stage.

I would think actualy Kolle and Walters would each be favored. Again Vanda will be taking on a much bigger guy. And Zach never holds his punches.

I am sad to hear that Boris won’t be facing Travis Walker. Travis Walker is probably the biggest name that was going to be fighting on the Dec. 4th car and I wanted to go see Boris fight. I chat with Boris once in awhile at Uppercut Gym and he’s a really nice guy. He told me if he lost to Travis Walker it might be his last fight so I have been trying really hard to get off work so I can see him fight. I am still going to try and make it, but I don’t know anything about this new guy Boris, aka “Eugene”, will be fighting. Anyone know anything about him? Nice to see the “Jungle Boy” will be added to the card as well. I’ve never seen him fight either so I’m looking forward to that.
I found out that Chasing Bear is 6 ft.5in.is 4-0-1 the draw being with Vann Goodman,also has 3 K-O’s,,my opinion, bad fight for Boris
Thanks for the info Rocky. Well I hope Boris can get a win. I got Friday off and this will be my first time watching Boris fight. I’ll be pulling for him!
